Project Description:  2 story research and development center
 
Size: Approximately 13,000 square feet per floor
 
Construction Description:

  1. The building was designed utilizing steel beams, joists, and bow string roof trusses.
  2. The floors had steel joists at 10’ on center with composite steel beam girders.
  3. Both the first floor and second floor were recessed to accommodate a raised floor system housing both mechanical and electrical services.
  4. The roof was designed with 40’ long steel beams, with an approximate 36’ radius built into the beam.
