Project Description: 4 story medical office building.

Size: 155,000 square feet (total)

Construction material:

  1. The building was constructed using a steel beam and column system, with both cross bracing and moment frames.
  2. The main entry has a 30’ canopy hung off the building columns.
  3. Earth retainage: the building exterior grades vary 28’ (2 levels) from east to west. Retaining this height was accomplished by building up a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) “wall”, which exerted no lateral pressure on the building
